The Art Hunger is an artist-driven initiative dedicated to nurturing and showcasing local artists in Redding, CA. Through gallery exhibitions, events and collaborative projects, we transform spaces into vibrant hubs of creativity, fostering cultural growth and artistic expression. In partnership with Viva Downtown Redding, we provide a platform for artists to connect, share their work, and thrive.

JULY 2025
It's that time of the year!
Join us from June to September for the 2025 Summer Gallery season at The Art Hunger!
We're celebrating a new wave of creativity, community, and local talent. All summer long, our gallery will feature rotating exhibitions, themed shows, and special events that highlight the vibrant art scene of Northern California.
The Newstalgia Art Show—an exhibition that explores the dynamic blend of memory and modernity. Rooted in the concept of newstalgia (/nÉ™uˈstaljÉ™/), this show highlights the trend of merging the comforting familiarity of the past with the bold spirit of the present.
Join us for opening night and experience a reboot of the past, where time bends, eras collide, and old memories feel strikingly new.
NEWSTALGIA Art Show
July 4 - 26, 2025
We’re inviting passionate, original artists to showcase and sell their handcrafted works at this year’s Beer & Wine Festival, a well-loved local event that draws hundreds of patrons from across Northern California.
This is a unique opportunity for artists to engage directly with the public, sell their work, and be part of a vibrant celebration of creativity, craft, and community.

Bring your own supplies and join us, all skill levels are welcome, no-instructor, free admission.

The Art Hunger is proud to partner with Viva Downtown Redding, a Main Street America Organization dedicated to the social, cultural, and economic development of Downtown Redding. This collaboration has been instrumental in bringing our vision to life and creating a vibrant arts community in the heart of the city.
