One of our main goals is to support the economic development of the local artistic community.

We provide a platform for artists to showcase their work, create income from sales, and gain exposure that encourages them to continue producing art.

Artè de la Cremè

The Art Hunger invites you to submit your finest work for Artè de la Cremè, an exhibition celebrating the best of the best.

This show will spotlight talent across all mediums—painting, sculpture, photography, multimedia, and beyond.

Selected works should embody technical mastery, bold creativity, and a distinct artistic voice. This is your chance to shine in a curated showcase designed to elevate Redding’s art scene.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is an Open-Themed exhibit, and we are looking for your best works. 

  • Artists can submit up to five (5) pieces for consideration

  • All mediums and styles are welcome, including 3D pieces.

  • Submissions will only be accepted via email to The.Art.Hunger@gmail.com. Include photos of the works, size, price, medium and a short bio about the artist. Submissions via social media, Direct message or in person will not be considered.

Art In Bloom

The Art Hunger invites artists to submit their finest floral and nature-inspired works for Art in Bloom, an exhibition where art and botany intertwine. This unique showcase will pair 10 selected paintings with 10 local florists, who will create bespoke floral arrangements inspired by the artworks—transforming our gallery into a living celebration of nature’s beauty.

We’re seeking: Original works in any medium (painting, photography, sculpture, etc.) Pieces that evoke color, texture, and organic energy.

  • This is an flowers/garden/landscape/nature art show, and we are looking for your best works. 

  • Artists can submit up to five (5) pieces for consideration

Pop-Up Art Show

The Art Hunger is hosting an intergalactic Pop-up Art Show at The Food Truck Park on Saturday, May 3rd (5-8PM)—a one-day-only celebration of all things Star Wars!

We’re seeking artists to showcase their Star Wars-inspired work—from paintings and prints to sculptures, droids, and beyond.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • All works must be inspired or showcasing Star Wars to celebrate May The 4th, and we are looking for your best works. 

  • Artists can submit up to three (3) pieces for consideration

  • All mediums and styles are welcome, including 3D pieces.

  • Your best work, regardless of medium or subject 

  • Artists can submit up to three (3) pieces for consideration

The Art Hunger is proud to present Taste The Rainbow, a LGBTQAI+ art exhibition celebrating Pride Month with bold, unapologetic creativity.

We’re seeking the best of the best—works that radiate queer joy, resilience, and identity in every hue of the rainbow.

  • We want: Stunning original art (any medium) that speaks to LGBTQAI+ experiences, struggles, or triumphs. Pieces that push boundaries—whether through technique, message, or sheer vibrancy. Art that makes viewers feel, question, and celebrate.

  • Artists can submit up to five (5) pieces for consideration

  • All mediums and styles are welcome, including 3D pieces.

Following the success of our 2022 exhibition, "Blockbusters: A show about movies", The Art Hunger  presents Blockbusters 2: The Sequel—an art show showcasing iconic cinema into 2D and 3D masterpieces. This time, we’re doubling down on the drama, humor, and visual spectacle of the silver screen.

  • We want: Film-inspired works in any medium, pieces that capture the essence of movies—whether through literal scenes, abstract interpretations, or behind-the-scenes magic. Art that makes viewers gasp, laugh, or whisper “I know that reference!”. Extra points is the piece is about a movie sequel.

  • Artists can submit up to five (5) pieces for consideration

  • All mediums and styles are welcome, including 3D pieces.

We've celebrated the 70s, 80s, and 90s with our art party shows, this year is all about the Millenium!

The Art Hunger is turning back the dial to the 2000s for our next decade-themed exhibition!

We’re seeking top-tier works that capture the chaotic, glittering spirit of the Y2K era—from low-rise jeans to "Leave Britney Alone!", Nokia bricks to The Matrix glitches and even frosted tips... let's make it 2000 and late!​

REQUIREMENTS:

  • We want: Art that embodies early 2000s nostalgia (think: pop culture, tech, fashion, and that existential pre-iPhone vibe). Pieces that play with Y2K aesthetics—bling, pixelation, hyper-color, or dystopian futurism. Only the most iconic, technically stellar works will be selected.

  • Artists can submit up to five (5) pieces for consideration

  • All mediums and styles are welcome, including 3D pieces.
